Urgent News from the City of Dakhla
This morning, police stormed the house of Saharawi activist and former political prisoner Atiq Barray. He has been detained and his whereabouts are currently unknown. Four other young Saharawis detained this morning in Dakhla are:– MOHAMED SIDI SALEM
– MANSUR SBAAI
– WANNATI RABANI
– SIDAHMED MABRUK
To protest against these detentions, a demonstration was organised in front of the city’s central police station, with family members and activists demanding the immediate release of the detainees.
