Arbitrary transfer of a Sahrawi political prisoner between Moroccan prisons
Mohamed Dihani, a Saharawi political prisoner who is serving a five year sentence in the Moroccan prison Salé-2, has been moved without explanation to the central prison of Kenitra (Northern Morocco). Mohamed’s family has raised concerns with international organisations, the Moroccan Ministry of Justice, the president of the National Council for Human Rights and the Moroccan General Administration for Penitentiary Institutions in order to demand a reason for what they consider to be an illegal and arbitrary transfer.
Adala UK once more urges the Moroccan authorities to immediately release all Sahrawi political prisoners and put an end to the harassment, intimidation and illegal transfers.
