Morocco continues to disrespect and torture saharawi political prisoners

Mr. Elmojahid Mayara, saharawi political prisoner in the Black Jail of occupied El Aiun capital of Western Sahara  entered an open hunger strike on October 14th. Mr. Mayara was tortured and has severe back pain, but according to his family did not receive any medical care.

Mr. Abdel Fatah Dalal, also detained in the Black Jail of occupied El Aiun  was presented yesterday in court and sentenced to one year imprisionment.

The trials of Mr. Mohamed Baber, Aliyen Mossaoui and Abdelmotalib Sarir were rescheduled for October 28th  in the Court of occupied El Aiun capital city of Western Sahara.

Mr. Abed Khalik Elmerkhi  will go to trial on the 20th of November in Agadir South of Morocco

Adala UK urges once again the international community to pressure the Morrocan Kingdom to respect the basic rights of the saharawi political prisoners and to provide the necessary medical assistance.
